Professional Coaching Practitioner
ICF Level 2 accredited coach training — your pathway to the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.

About the programme
An ICF Level 2 accredited programme that deepens your coaching mastery to the standard of the ICF PCC Markers. Advanced live training, observed coaching and detailed feedback prepare you to coach at a professional level and to apply for the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.
The Professional Certified Coach (PCC) is ICF’s second credential and a widely respected mark of an experienced, highly skilled coach. Many organisations look for PCC-level coaches when they hire external coaches or build internal coaching programmes.
Professional Coaching Practitioner is an ICF Level 2 accredited programme. It takes your coaching beyond the foundations to the standard described by the ICF PCC Markers — the behaviours ICF assessors look for in a PCC-level coaching session — through advanced training, observed coaching and detailed feedback.
It’s designed for coaches who already coach regularly and want to deepen their mastery, coach with more impact and complete the coach education for the PCC credential.

Professional Coaching Practitioner questions
Is the programme accredited?
Yes. It is accredited by International Coaching Federation (ICF).
What will I receive when I complete it?
Your RISENLEAD certificate of completion, with a unique certificate number and a QR code anyone can scan to verify it, plus a digital badge to share on LinkedIn and your website. You also join the RISENLEAD alumni community for life.
What do I need to apply for the ICF PCC credential?
ICF currently asks Level 2 applicants for at least 125 hours of coach education through a Level 2 programme such as this one, 10 hours of Mentor Coaching, at least 500 hours of coaching experience, a performance evaluation and the ICF Credentialing Exam. ICF sets these requirements and can change them, so check coachingfederation.org for the latest details.
Do I need the ACC credential first?
ICF doesn’t require an ACC before PCC, but this programme assumes solid coaching foundations. If you’re new to coaching, start with our Associate Coaching Practitioner (Level 1).
What are the PCC Markers?
They’re the observable behaviours ICF assessors look for when they review a recorded coaching session to decide whether it meets PCC level. The programme trains you against them directly.
Will I have the PCC credential when I finish?
No. Credentials are awarded by ICF. This programme gives you the accredited coach education; you then apply to ICF once you’ve met the other requirements.
