Who we are
RISENLEAD Coaching Academy (“RISENLEAD”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is run by Risenlead FZE, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Reg. No. 4429039, United Arab Emirates. We provide coaching certification programmes onsite in Dubai and live online to learners around the world, along with corporate training for organisations.
We decide why and how your personal information is used, so we are responsible for it. Under data protection laws this makes us the “controller” (in some countries called the “data fiduciary” or “organisation”).
This policy applies to everyone whose personal information we handle, including website visitors, people who send us enquiries, learners and graduates, people who attend our events and webinars, and contacts at organisations we work with. It covers this website on every country site (for example /in/, /uk/ and /global/), and our emails, WhatsApp conversations, discovery calls and programmes.
Our data protection contact handles all privacy questions and requests. You can reach them at info@risenleadcoaching.com, with “Privacy” in the subject line.
Summary
- We collect only what we need to answer your questions, run your programme, issue your certificate and run our business.
- We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising profiles.
- The public website uses no advertising or analytics cookies.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- We send you marketing only if you’ve agreed to it, and you can stop it at any time.

Coaching practice often involves talking about personal experiences. Please share only what you’re comfortable sharing. We don’t ask for sensitive information such as health, religious beliefs or ethnicity, and we ask you not to include it in forms or messages. If you choose to share it, for example to request support for a disability, we use it only for that purpose.
Information collected automatically
- When you visit the website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, the page you asked for, the time and the referring page. This is used to deliver the page, keep the site secure and block attacks.
- If a page you ask for doesn’t exist, we record the address that was requested and the referring page, so we can fix broken links. This record doesn’t include your IP address or anything else that identifies you.
- We estimate which country you’re in from your IP address, to suggest the right country site. We don’t store this.
- When you choose a country site, your browser remembers your choice (see “Cookies and similar technologies”).
Information from others
- Stripe tells us whether a payment succeeded, the amount and the billing details you entered.
- Our booking, learning and credentials platforms tell us about your bookings, progress and certificate.
- If your employer books training for you, they give us your name, work email and role.
- Accrediting bodies may confirm details we need to support your accreditation.
How we use your information
We use your information only for the purposes below. Some data protection laws (including those of the UK and EU) require us to name a “legal basis” for each use; it is shown in the second column.
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry and helping you choose a programme | Steps you asked us to take before entering a contract; our legitimate interest in answering questions about our programmes |
| Enrolling you, taking payment and sending receipts | Performing our contract with you |
| Delivering your programme, including live sessions, practice, feedback and assessments | Performing our contract with you |
| Issuing your certificate and letting employers or others verify it, if you share it | Performing our contract with you; our legitimate interest in protecting the value of our certificates |
| Registering you with, or confirming your training to, an accrediting body | Performing our contract with you |
| Sending reminders, schedule changes and other messages about your programme | Performing our contract with you |
| Sending news about upcoming cohorts, programmes and offers | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time; or, where the law allows, our legitimate interest in telling past learners about similar programmes |
| Improving our programmes and website using feedback | Our legitimate interest in improving what we offer |
| Publishing testimonials, photos or videos featuring you | Your consent |
| Keeping the website and our systems secure and preventing fraud | Our legitimate interest in protecting our business and users; legal obligation |
| Keeping financial records, paying taxes and meeting legal requirements | Legal obligation |
| Handling complaints, disputes and legal claims | Our legitimate interest in defending our rights; legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed our interests against your rights and expectations. You can ask us for details of that assessment, and you can object (see “Your rights”).
We don’t make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that have legal or similarly significant effects. Assessments and certification decisions are made by our trainers.
Marketing messages
We send news about programmes and offers by email or WhatsApp only if you’ve asked for it or agreed to it, or, where the law allows, if you’re a past learner and the news is about similar programmes. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can reply “STOP” on WhatsApp or email info@risenleadcoaching.com at any time. Unsubscribing doesn’t affect messages we need to send about a programme you’ve booked.
Live sessions, recordings and photos
- Live online sessions and calls with our team (such as discovery calls) run on Zoom or Google Meet. Other learners in your cohort will see your name and, if you turn it on, your camera.
- If we record a session, we’ll tell you before recording starts. Recordings are used only to support learners in that cohort and for assessment and quality checks, and are deleted when they are no longer needed for those purposes.
- Some programmes require you to submit recordings of practice coaching sessions for assessment. Please get your practice client’s permission before recording, and we’ll keep these recordings only until your assessment is complete.
- We may take photos at onsite programmes and events. We’ll ask before using any photo in which you can be identified for marketing, and you can say no.
- What other learners share in practice sessions is confidential. We ask every learner not to record, share or repeat it.
Who we share your information with
We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only as described below.

Others

- Authorities, courts and regulators, when the law requires it or to protect our rights, our learners or others.
- A buyer or successor, if all or part of our business is sold or reorganised. They would have to respect this policy.
Google Fonts (which supplies the website’s typefaces) and jsDelivr (which supplies the country flags) receive your IP address when your browser loads them, as part of delivering those files.
International transfers
We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and our service providers process information in other countries, including the United States and member states of the European Union. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from yours.
When we transfer your information out of your country, we take steps to make sure it stays protected to the standard your law requires. Depending on the transfer, this may include using providers in countries with recognised adequate protection, standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant authority (such as the European Commission’s clauses and the UK addendum), or other safeguards the law allows. You can ask for more information about these safeguards by emailing info@risenleadcoaching.com.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, then delete it or make it anonymous.
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Enquiries and messages from people who don’t enrol | Up to 2 years after we last heard from you |
| Learner records (enrolment, attendance, coursework and assessments) | 3 years after you complete or leave your programme, so we can answer questions and support your accreditation |
| Practice session recordings submitted for assessment | Until your assessment is complete, and no longer than 6 months |
| Certificate records (your name, programme, date and certificate number) | For as long as the certificate can be verified, so employers and accrediting bodies can confirm it is genuine |
| Payment, invoice and accounting records | As long as UAE tax and company law requires, currently up to 7 years |
| Marketing preferences | Until you unsubscribe, then a minimal record so we don’t contact you again |
| Website security logs | A short period set by Cloudflare |
| Information needed for a complaint or legal claim | Until it is resolved and any time limit for further claims has passed |
How we protect your information
- The website and admin area use encrypted connections (HTTPS) only.
- Access to enquiries, learner records and the admin area is limited to the team members who need it, and protected by secure sign-in.
- Our hosting and payment providers maintain recognised security certifications.
- We never store full card details. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
- We train our team to handle personal information carefully and confidentially.
No system is completely secure. If a breach of security puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the relevant authorities where the law requires, and take steps to limit the harm. Please contact us straight away at info@risenleadcoaching.com if you think your information has been misused.
Your rights
Depending on the law where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access: get confirmation of whether we hold information about you, and a copy of it.
- Correction: have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected.
- Deletion: have your information deleted where we no longer need it or have no legal basis to keep it.
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your information, for example while a complaint is being looked into.
- Objection: object to our use of your information based on legitimate interests, and to marketing at any time.
- Portability: receive information you gave us in a structured, commonly used format, or have it sent to another organisation.
- Withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time. This doesn’t affect what we did before you withdrew it.
- Complain: complain to a data protection authority (see below).
How to make a request
Email info@risenleadcoaching.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line, saying what you’d like us to do. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, to protect your information. Someone else can make a request for you if they show they have your permission.
We’ll respond within 30 days, or sooner where your local law sets a shorter time. If a request is complex, we may need more time where the law allows, and we’ll tell you why. Requests are free, unless they are clearly unfounded or excessive.
Sometimes we can’t fully meet a request, for example if we must keep payment records for tax purposes. If so, we’ll explain why.
