About these terms
RISENLEAD Coaching Academy (“RISENLEAD”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is run by Risenlead FZE, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Reg. No. 4429039, United Arab Emirates. You can contact us at info@risenleadcoaching.com.
In these terms, “you” means the person using our website or enrolling on a programme. If an organisation books training for its people, “you” also means that organisation where the context requires.
These terms apply to:
- your use of this website, on every country site;
- every booking for one of our programmes, whether onsite in Dubai or live online;
- your use of our online learning platform and certificates portal; and
- webinars, discovery calls and events we run.
When you book, you also agree to our refund and cancellation policy. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information. If these terms and a programme page differ, the programme page applies to that programme. If we agree something different with you in writing (for example a corporate agreement), that agreement applies where it differs.
Summary
- Your place is confirmed when we receive full payment.

- You can cancel or transfer under our refund and cancellation policy.
- To get your certificate, you need to attend the required hours and pass the assessments.
- Course materials are for your own learning only.
- Our programmes teach coaching skills. They are not therapy or medical treatment.
- Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer.
Using our website
You may use our website to learn about our programmes, contact us and book. Please don’t:
- use it in a way that breaks the law or harms others;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, our admin area or our systems, or interfere with how they work;
- send spam, harmful code or misleading information through our forms; or
- copy large parts of the website, or scrape it, for commercial use without our permission.
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but dates, fees and programme details can change, and the website may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. What you see when you pay is what applies to your booking.
Our website links to other websites, such as accrediting bodies, our learning platform and social media. We don’t control those websites and aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Our programmes
Formats
- Onsite programmes take place in person in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We confirm the exact location to enrolled learners before the programme starts.
- Live online programmes take place in scheduled live sessions with a trainer, over Zoom or Google Meet. We tell you which one before the programme starts. Session times are shown in Gulf Standard Time (GST) unless stated otherwise. Please check the time in your own time zone.
Each programme page sets out the content, schedule, total hours, assessments, what’s included and any entry requirements. Please read it before you book.
Who can enrol
Our programmes are for adults aged 18 or over. They are taught in English, so you need to be comfortable listening, speaking and writing in English. Some programmes, such as ICF Level 2 (PCC), have entry requirements; we may ask you to show that you meet them before or after you book, and if you don’t, we’ll refund you in full.
Changes to content
We keep our programmes up to date, so we may improve the content, materials or structure from time to time. We won’t make a change that significantly reduces what you’ve paid for, or that affects your accreditation, without telling you and giving you the choice of a full refund.
Booking and payment
How booking works
- You book by paying through the payment link on our website, or by an invoice we send you.
- Your booking is an offer to buy a place. A contract between you and us is formed when we receive your full payment and send you a confirmation email.
- Places on each cohort are limited and are given in the order full payments are received. If a cohort is full when your payment arrives, we’ll offer you a place on another cohort or a full refund.
- Please make sure the details you give us are correct, especially your name as you want it to appear on your certificate.
Fees and currency
- Fees are shown on each country site in the currency you’ll be charged. Onsite programmes in Dubai are charged in UAE dirhams (AED), or in US dollars (USD) on our Global site.
- Fees include any value added tax or similar tax we are required to charge, unless the website says otherwise.
- Your bank or card provider may charge currency conversion or international transaction fees. These are your responsibility.
- We may change our fees at any time, but a change never affects a place you’ve already paid for.
- If a fee is shown wrongly on the website because of an obvious error, we aren’t required to honour it. We’ll contact you, and you can choose to pay the correct fee or have a full refund.
Payment
- Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Fees are payable in full when you book, unless we agree an instalment plan with you in writing. If you’re on an instalment plan and miss a payment, we may pause your access to sessions and materials until it’s paid.
- Fees cover tuition, course materials, assessments and your certificate, unless the programme page says otherwise. They don’t cover travel, accommodation, meals outside the programme, visas, or any fees an accrediting body charges you directly (for example an ICF credential application fee).
Offers and discount codes
- Early Bird and Super Early Bird prices are available until the deadline shown for each cohort. To use one, enter the code shown on the website when you pay.
- Each code works only for the programme and cohort it was issued for, expires at the end of its deadline day (Dubai time) and can’t be combined with another offer or discount.
- An offer can’t be applied to a booking that has already been paid, and has no cash value.
- We may withdraw or change an offer at any time before you pay. This doesn’t affect bookings already paid.
Cancellations, transfers and refunds
You can cancel your booking, transfer to another cohort or send someone in your place under our refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms. In short:
- 14 days or more before the start: a refund minus a 10% administration fee, or a free transfer.
- Less than 14 days before the start, or after it has started: no refund, but one free transfer to a cohort starting within the next 12 months.
- If you’re a consumer in the UK or EU, you also have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking online.
To cancel or transfer, email info@risenleadcoaching.com.
Changes and cancellations by us
Occasionally we may need to change a cohort’s dates, session times, trainer or onsite location in Dubai, or cancel a cohort, for example because of trainer illness or too few bookings. We’ll tell you as early as we can.
- If we cancel a cohort, or change its dates or times so that you can’t attend, you can choose a full refund (with no administration fee) or a free transfer to another cohort.
- If we replace a trainer, the new trainer will be suitably qualified for the programme.
- We aren’t responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you’ve arranged, so we recommend booking refundable travel for onsite programmes.
Attending onsite programmes
- You’re responsible for your own travel, accommodation and, if you need one, your visa to the UAE. We can provide a confirmation letter of your enrolment on request, but we can’t guarantee a visa will be granted.
- Please arrive on time. Sessions start promptly, and missed time can affect your certification.
- Please follow the venue’s rules and any health and safety instructions.
- You’re responsible for your personal belongings.
- Tell us before the programme about any accessibility needs or dietary requirements, and we’ll do our best to help.
Attending live online sessions
- You need a reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, and a quiet, private space for practice sessions.
- Please join on time and keep your camera on during sessions, especially during practice coaching.
- We aren’t responsible for sessions you miss because of your own connection, equipment or time zone.
- Session links are for you only. Please don’t share them.
- Please don’t record, photograph or screenshot sessions or other learners without everyone’s permission. If we record a session, we’ll tell you first; see our privacy policy.
- If you miss a session, tell your trainer. Where possible, we’ll help you catch up, but this may not count towards required live hours.
Your learning platform account
If your programme includes access to our online learning platform, we’ll create an account for you. Please keep your login details private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. Accounts are for one person only.
Access to the platform and its materials lasts for the period stated on your programme page. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously broken, or if fees are unpaid.
Assessment and certification
What you need to do
To receive your certificate, you need to:
- attend the minimum live hours set for your programme;
- complete the required practice, coursework and assessments to the standard set by your trainer; and
- have paid your fees in full.
If you don’t pass an assessment the first time, we’ll give you feedback and at least one chance to resubmit within the time set for your programme. Further attempts may carry a fee, which we’ll tell you about first.
Honest work
Your coursework and assessments must be your own work. Copying, using someone else’s work, or submitting AI-generated work as your own without saying so may lead to a failed assessment or removal from the programme.
Your certificate
- We issue certificates digitally through our certificates portal, where you can download, share and verify them.
- Certificates show your name as you gave it to us. If we make a mistake, we’ll correct it free of charge. Changes for other reasons may carry a small fee.
- We may withdraw a certificate if we find it was obtained dishonestly or issued in error.
Accreditation
Our programmes are accredited by independent bodies, such as the International Coaching Federation (ICF), IPHM, ICAHP and ABNLP. The accreditations page shows which body accredits which programme.
- Accrediting bodies set their own rules, standards and fees, and may change them. Their rules apply in addition to ours.
- Some credentials, such as the ICF ACC and PCC credentials, are awarded by the accrediting body, not by us. You apply to that body yourself, and it decides whether to award the credential. Our programme gives you the required training hours, but we can’t guarantee the outcome of your application.
- If a programme’s accreditation changes while you’re enrolled, we’ll tell you promptly. If the change significantly affects you, you can choose a transfer to another programme or a full refund for any part of the programme not yet delivered.
Code of conduct
Our cohorts are built on trust. Everyone who takes part agrees to:
- treat trainers, staff and fellow learners with respect and courtesy;
- keep confidential anything personal that others share in sessions, practice and group chats;
- avoid harassment, discrimination, abusive language or behaviour of any kind;
- not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or drugs; and
- not use our programmes, groups or community to promote their own products or services without our permission.
If someone breaks this code, we may give a warning or, for serious or repeated breaches, remove them from the programme, its groups and our community, without a refund. We’ll explain our reasons and listen to their side first, unless the situation needs immediate action to protect others.
Coaching is not therapy
Our programmes teach coaching, emotional intelligence, NLP, mindfulness and wellbeing skills. They are educational, not medical, psychological or psychiatric treatment, and don’t replace it.
- If you’re receiving treatment for a mental or physical health condition, please speak to your health professional before enrolling, and tell us confidentially if you need any support.
- Practice exercises can sometimes bring up strong emotions. You choose what to share, and you can step out of any exercise at any time.
- If you’re in crisis or at risk, please contact your local emergency services.
Your results depend on your own effort and circumstances. We can’t guarantee any particular personal, professional, career or financial outcome from a programme.
After you qualify, you’re responsible for how you practise as a coach, including following any professional code of ethics, holding any insurance, licences or permits your country requires, and referring clients to other professionals when appropriate.
Intellectual property
- Our programmes, course materials, workbooks, slides, recordings, assessments, logos, website content and brand belong to us or the people we license them from.
- When you enrol, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own learning and, once qualified, as a reference in your own coaching practice.
- You may not copy, share, sell, publish or record our materials, or use them to run your own training or courses, without our written permission.
- Work you create during a programme, such as coursework, stays yours. You allow us to use it for assessment, quality checks and accreditation. We’ll only use it in any other way, such as an example for future learners, with your permission and without identifying you unless you agree.
- If you give us a testimonial, review, photo or video and agree to us publishing it, you allow us to use it in our marketing. You can ask us to stop using it at any time, and we’ll remove it from our website and future materials.
Corporate and group training
Training we provide to organisations is covered by a separate proposal or agreement, which sets out the scope, fees, payment terms and cancellation terms. Where that agreement doesn’t cover something, these terms apply. The organisation is responsible for paying the fees, and for making sure its participants follow these terms.
Our liability to you
We take care to deliver our programmes well, with suitably qualified trainers.
- We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
- Our total liability to you for anything connected with a programme is limited to the fees you paid for that programme.
- We aren’t responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, or for indirect losses such as lost income, lost business opportunities, or travel and accommodation costs.
- If you book as a business, we aren’t liable for loss of profit, business or revenue.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Nothing in these terms affects the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Events outside our control
We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, war, unrest, strikes, travel disruption, or major failures of internet, power or platform services. If such an event affects your programme, we’ll tell you as soon as we can and offer you another date, a move to live online delivery where suitable, or a refund for any part of the programme we can’t deliver.
Your information
We handle your personal information as described in our privacy policy.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with anything we’ve done, please tell us so we can put it right. Email info@risenleadcoaching.com with “Complaint” in the subject line, explaining what happened and what you’d like us to do. We’ll acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to give you a full response within 10 working days.
If you’re not satisfied with our response, you may also be able to contact the consumer protection authority in your country.
Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute about them or a programme, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah. We’ll always try to resolve a disagreement with you directly first. If we can’t, the courts of the Emirate of Sharjah will deal with it.
If you’re a consumer living outside the UAE, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you may be able to bring a claim in your own country’s courts.
Other important terms
- Whole agreement: these terms, the programme page, our refund and cancellation policy, your booking confirmation and any written agreement with us make up the whole agreement between you and us.
- Transfer: we may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, for example if our business is reorganised or sold. We’ll tell you if this happens, and it won’t reduce your rights. You may transfer your place only as described in our refund and cancellation policy.
- If part of these terms is invalid: the rest stays in force.
- Delays in enforcing: if we don’t insist straight away that you do something you’re required to do, we can still require it later.
- Third parties: no one else has rights under these terms.
- Language: these terms are in English. If we provide a translation and it differs, the English version applies.
- Notices: we’ll contact you using the email address you gave us. You can contact us at info@risenleadcoaching.com.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the law or our programmes change. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on the date you paid. If we make a change that affects a programme you’ve already booked, we’ll tell you, and if it affects you significantly, you can cancel for a full refund.
